Description

This Request For Information (RFI) is being issued to locate potential sources who possess the capabilities/qualifications/resources to satisfy the requirements detailed in the attached Statement Of Objectives(SOO). This RFI is for market research and planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Responses are due by 2:00 PM EDT on February 23, 2009. Responses shall be submitted electronically to contracting@socom.mil. Responses shall be submitted as pdf attachments only. The subject of the email shall be “CCRFI Response 090217” Attachments must be named to easily identify the company it is from. The Government intends to process this requirement under the North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) 624310 with a size standard is $6.5 Million. This is NOT a request for a general capabilities brief. Instead, the Government is requesting specific information that clearly shows potential sources that can provide the services described in the attached SOO. Responses need to provide tangible, comparable examples of support, experience, and past performance information. The information submitted must be recent and relevant. Response shall include: Company name; complete address; point of contact name, phone number and email address; CAGE Code; DUNS Number; and business size. In addition, each response should include the following: 1. Description of current relationships with 501C entities. 2. Explanation of a recommended phase-in transition to ensure there will be no degradation of the support currently being received under the Pilot program. 3. Description of ability to recruit and retain qualified personal living and working nationwide. 4. Information on familiarity with Wounded Warrior issues accompanied with experience in legislative issues and DOD/VA policies and procedures. 5. Description of familiarity with Special Operations and the unique challenges faced by the USSOCOM Wounded Warriors. Capabilities/qualifications/submissions received in response to this RFI will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining the level of competition to pursue (e.g. small business set-aside or full and open). A determination by the Government regarding the method of competition for this effort, based upon responses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will NOT be accepted in response to this RFI. This is a request for information only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. This notice shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. No entitlement to payment will arise as a result of responding to this RFI. REMINDER: General corporate product literature will NOT be considered a response.
