- Description of Requirement: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to provide all labor, materials, and transportation to supply dormitory furniture for Isle Royale National Park, Windigo Bunkhouse. The items include, but are not limited to, bunkbeds, tables, chairs, and sofas (no furniture kits). Delivery to Houghton, Michigan 49931 shall be included in your quote. The complete Request for Quotation with attached materials list is available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov PAPER COPIES OF THIS WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS RFQ WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The number for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) is Q6310090079. Responses will be due no later than 3:00 PM on Feb. 20, 2009. The delivery date for all line items shall be no later than May 15,2009. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423210 and the small business size standard is "Not to Exceed" 500 employees. This procurement is 100% Set-aside for Small Business, and the National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged, service disabled veteran owned, and women-owned business enterprises. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made as a commercial item best value procurement using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 12, using a comparative evaluation of quotations based on price, past performance and technical qualifications as shown in the RFQ. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) at the following internet site in order to participate: http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are required to submit representations and certifications online at http://orca.bpn.gov in order to be eligible to receive an award.
