- Synopsis: Added: Feb 12, 2009 8:39 am The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Williamsburg, Salters, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 31603-019-9, for the requirements of: QUARTERLY MEAT REQUIREMENTS, in addition to RFQ 31603-014-9. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, and the delivery date will be by APRIL 15, 2009. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 8301 Hwy 521, Salters, South Carolina 29590. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. The solicitation will be made available on or about FEBRUARY 13, 2009, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2009 by 2:00 pm EST. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
