Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Contracting and General Services Office in Portland, Oregon have a requirement for a vendor to supply three new light brush fire trucks (or equal) for delivery at three locations. Each fire truck needs to perform in wildland fire suppression duties in remote, rough, rocky, and steep terrain and without excessive engine heat buildup. Basis for award will be "best value." In addition, the suggested brand name or "EQUAL," will be stated in the solicitation, with a description of the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that an "EQUAL" item must meet to be acceptable for an award. The three truck bodies will have truck build-up per specifications of the USFWS Fire Operations Branch. Award is subject to the availability of funds. Solicitation No. 101819Q241 is available electronically through a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at www.fedbizopps.gov or www.nbc.gov. The solicitation response date will be at 4:00 PM (PST) on February 25, 2009. No further notice will be posted on FedBizOpps.
