- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one source will satisfy agency requirements. A firm fixed priced contract will be issued to Wartsila Defense, Inc., 3617 Koppens Way, Chesapeake, VA 23323, for 15 each of seal, shaft assy alternator, drawing number 6105072. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation is N00253-09-T-0069. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
