- Description
- JTC TRS is a mission simulation system that has joint applicability for training personnel in all services. JTC TRS is a high fidelity simulator designed to conduct stand-alone and networked terminal control training and mission rehearsal. It will enable small teams, or individuals to train in a stand-alone or networked mode with other Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) participants through a full range of composite force employment options. The JTC TRS will support multiple, simultaneous modes of operation including: individual operator execution of a terminal control mission and multiple scenarios, small team operations (Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), Special Tactics Team (STT), Special Forces Operational Detachments Alpha (SF ODAs), SEAL Teams, Army Rangers, etc), and long haul, networked DMO missions. It will be capable of processing and displaying an accurate air/ground scene representation of virtual, constructive, and live forces generated locally or in the DMO environment.
