- The United States Department of Agriculture – Animal Plant and Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Wildlife Services (WS) anticipates a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency, for the following requirement: Short term lease of MD500 helicopter. The USDA-APHIS-WS uses a government owned MD500 helicopter to support predator management within the State of Montana. Due to unexpected circumstances this helicopter is unable to fly missions. The USDA anticipates awarding a four month fixed priced contract with estimated values $90,000.00 to lease a helicopter while the Government aircraft is repaired. This is not a request for competitive proposals, The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide.
