A 12 square sample complete with edging shall be submitted for testing and approval after fabric weaving but prior to delivery. STRENGTH Each monofilament shall have a minimum tensile strength of 80 pounds and minimum elongation at break of 30 percent. The material shall be suitable for use in cold water and shall be heat set at a minimum of 360 degrees Fahrenheit so that it will be dimensionally stable when subject to temperatures of 200 degrees Fahrenheit. It shall also be heat set at an adequate tension to provide dimensional stability at ambient temperatures. SCREEN EDGE PROTECTION The entire edged perimeter of the STS panels shall be protected with polyurethane or another approved equal material. The protective edging shall have a useable temperature range of 10 to + 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The selected edging shall be completely bonded through the mesh to offer equal protection on both sides of the STS panel.
