- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for the following: two (2) Pulsed Magnetrons which shall be over the frequency ranges of 19.75 Gigahertz(GHz) to 20.25 GHz., and a special design centered at 39 GHz. in accordance with specifications set forth. Specifications and additional requirement information (Proposal Summary) which must be submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation are available on our web page: http://143.84.21.9/docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm under Status of Current Solicitations and Sources Sought. Offeros shall be responsible for monitoriing this site for amendments. Also, on the Staus of Current Solicitation and Sources Sought page you will see the Proposal Summary link. This form should be filled out and accompany your proposal. The Proposal Summary is being used instead of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 334411 with a size standard of 750 employees. The contract type will be fixed price. Quotes will be evaluated on a technically acceptable, low price basis. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 dated 04 August 2006. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award if you are selected. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualified. Payment will be made through DFAS Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). The following provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors commerical Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive orders commercial items (in paragraph (b) the following clauses apply: 52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-41, 52.225-13 and 52.232.33.
