- This will be a firm fixed price requirements type contract. Contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation and other services necessary to inspect, test, and repair installed fixed fire suppression systems located at various Army Installations, Island of Oahu, Hawaii, and Pohakuloa Training Area, Kilauea Military Camp, Island of Hawaii. The issue date for this solicitation is estimated to be on or about 3 March 2009. Response date above is estimated. Actual proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation and may be earlier or later than 3 March 2009. Period of performance is 01 June 2009 with 4 prepriced 12-month option periods. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. A firm is considered to be a small business if its average annual gross receipts for the past three years do not exceed $11.0 million. NAICS 561621, Security Systems Services(except Locksmiths). Telephone requests will not be honored. Issued solicitation packages will be posted at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI)website,https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/(go to Contracting Opportunities Search, Select Contracting Office: ACA Fort Shafter, then Continue button). Interested offerors are required to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from this website. Once posted on the website, interested offerors are responsible for monitoring the website until the closing date for any issued amendments or changes. This is a recurring requirement. Services are currently performed under separate contract. Current contractor is National Fire Protection Co., Inc., 1906 Kahai Street, Ste 103, Honolulu, HI 96819-2250. Current contract is a base with four option years and the estimated contract price is $131,409.00.
