- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled DIGITAL CONTROL VALVE, SolicitationNumber NNL09281231Q which was posted on February 3, 2009. You are notified that thefollowing additional information is provided in response to receiving three questions:1. What is the fluid the valve will be controlling and its environment? AIR2. Is it possible to get a block diagram of the application?PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DRAWING. THE NEW CONTROL VALVE WOULD BE POSITIONED DOWNSTREAM OFHEATER IN CONFIGURATION OF NEW HIGH PRESSURE AIR SYSTEM.3. Can you give us a brief overview of the application and the objectives? THE VALVEWILL BE INSTALLED IN A HIGH PRESSURE AIR STATION THAT WILL BE PIPED TO THE TWO TESTSECTIONS OF A WIND TUNNEL. THE PIPING WILL BE CONNECTED TO VARIOUS AIRCRAFT ANDSPACECRAFT MODELS TO TEST PROPULSION SYSTEMS AND PERFORM NOZZLE JET SIMULATION DURINGWIND TUNNEL TESTING. THE VALVE WILL CONTROL THE PRESSURE AND PROVIDE A MASS LOW READINGOF THE AIR IN THE SYSTEM.The due date for responses is not extended.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application.
