- Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to Visitec of America, LLC., 200 Prosperity Drive, Knoxville TN 37923 for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment personal protective equipment and clothing (breathing equipment), hearing protection, eye protection including prescription safety glasses, materials and parts, transportation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK, to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Remedial Maintenance (RM) on the MIRA-X Large Chamber Scanning Electron Microscope (LC-SEM). A time and materials (T&M) is contemplated for one basic year. The proposed basic period of performance is 23 Feb 2009 through 22 Feb 2010. The estimated award date is 23 Feb 2009. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541690 with a size standard of $7.0 M. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered within 5 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government does not own the data rights or the processes for repair of this item. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
