Description
SOLICITATION for CONSTRUCTION Construction of Manhole Sump Pump and Storm Water Pumps and Sewer System Replacement at the Jacksonville Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), Hilliard, Florida. The work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of sump pumps, installation of new drainage pipes, electrical conduit and conductors, replace submersible storm water pumps, disconnect switches and power supplies, piping, valves, floats, control wiring and associated conduit in an existing storm water pit. *****This project may be awarded to multiple vendors or a single vendor.***** Estimated performance time: 60 calendar days. The estimated price range for these projects are:Manhole Sump Pumps: $25,000.00 - $100,000.00Storm Water Pumps & Sewer Systems: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 Issue date for solicitation: February 9, 2009Due Date for Offers: March 9, 2009Estimated start date for project: April 6, 2009 This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors To be considered by award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: ww.ccr.gov). This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
