- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to issue a sole source modification to contract M67854-09-D-5026 to BAE Systems Land and Armament, LP of Santa Clara, CA for the procurement of additional Marine Corps Transparent Armor Gun Shield (MCTAGS) systems, associated technical and logistics documentation, spare parts and engineering services for potential production improvements. The maximum anticipated value of the IDIQ contract over three (3) years is $217,126,924. BAE Systems Land and Armament, LP is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the MCTAGS, and possesses the requisite technical knowledge, expertise, special tooling and familiarity to manufacture the end item. Please note that no Government owned Technical Data Package (TDP) is available for this effort. (See Note 22.)
