Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Stockton Missouri Lake Project, intends to issue a contract for concrete retaining wall blocks, delivered to designated site at Long Branch Lake Project, Macon, Missouri. Any contract resulting will be firm-fixed price, with NAICS code 212311, size standard 500 employees, and being 100% set aside for small business. Quotes may be submitted in person, via delivery service or U.S. Mail, via facsimile to 417-276-3510 or 816-389-3510, or via email to cynthia.a.clark@usace.army.mil. NOTE: The goods advertised under this combined synopsis/solicitation are for the use of, and to be delivered to, the Long Branch Lake Project, Macon, Missouri. The contract will, however, be issued by the Stockton, Missouri Lake Project. QUESTIONS: Please direct any questions to Cindy Clark at 816-389-3009 or cynthia.a.clark@usace.army.mil. SPECIFICATIONS: Contractor shall furnish and deliver 41-inch series concrete retaining wall blocks to Long Branch Lake Project, Macon Missouri. Exact delivery point shall be determined by Long Branch Lake Project Manager. All blocks shall be made with Ready-Mixed concrete in accordance with ASTM C94 (most recent revision), with a 28-day compressive strength of 4,000 psi and acceptable air content 1.5% to 7.5% with slump of 5 inches plus or minus one and one half inch. In addition, material shall meet applicable ASTM and local requirements for exterior concrete. Block dimensions shall be uniform and consistent. Surfaces shall be smooth except exterior which shall be textured architectural surface. 41-INCH SERIES BLOCKS REQUIRED: a) Cap Blocks quantity 80 b) Flat-Top Blocks quantity 80 Middle Blocks quantity 160 Bottom Blocks quantity 80 Corner Blocks quantity 14 c) Three-sided Step Blocks quantity 13 - - - end of specifications - - -
