Description
THIS SOLICITATION IS HEREBY CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY. The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for various Rolls Royce Naval Marine parts for several propulsion systems onboard the 175’ WLM, 210’ WMEC, 225’ WLB & 420’ WAGB cutter classes. Delivery shall be on going after receipt of delivery orders and destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd, Baltimore MD 21226-5000. A requirements type contract with one (1) base year and four (4) option years is anticipated. It is the Government’s belief that only Rolls Royce Naval Marine Inc. possesses the required capabilities to manufacture the various propulsion system parts. All reproduction manufacturing drawings, specifications and other technical data pertaining to the various propulsion systems parts are not available within the government and are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Rolls Royce Naval Marine Inc. However, other potential sources having expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional characteristics or 2) Data that offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer. No cost or pricing is required. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency.
