- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a full and open basis sixteen (16) pieces of 3.250 inches - plus or negative 0.050 inches by 10 inches - plus or negative 0.050 inches by one-hundred twenty inches plus or negative 0.250 inches of G-10 Cryogenic Insulation. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 332312 and the small business size is 500 employees. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS THE ITEM IS IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. FOB destination shall apply. The closing date of this synopsis is 19 February 2009. Anticipated award is 20 February 2009. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/ /SUPPLY. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
