- Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC), Langley AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to acquire specialized contract Air & Apace Operations Center (AOC) functional operators and technicians to augment and enhance forces and operations at 608 AOC (AFSTRAT) Barksdale AFB LA, 609 AOC (AFCENT) Shaw AFB SC, 612 AOC (AFSOUTH) Davis Monthan AZ, ACC HQ Langley AFB VA, and deployed OCONUS AOC locations. All 609 AOC contractor personnel will have primary duties at Shaw AFB SC unless specifically stated in the PWS. Under this PWS, technical services on-site representatives will be required at the ACC Ryan Center AOC Help Desk, Langley AFB, VA, to support the AOC Weapon System. The Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) weapon system is the senior Command and Control (C2) element of the Theater Air Control System (TACS) and operational level focal point for C2 of air and space forces during Air Force and combined (coalition)/joint operations. Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC) is the Lead Command, Combat Air Force (CAF) lead, and force provider of AOC equipment and personnel as an Air Force component of United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) - {AFSTRAT}, United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) - {AFCENT}, and United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) - {AFSOUTH}. The Help Desk serves AOC entities and other organizations or enablers, such as Air Support Operations Support Centers or unit level organizations integrated into or with the AOC system engineering baseline. The Air Force will consider and respond to all inputs received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this acquisition. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541513. A draft copy of the PWS is included for contractor review. Responses are required to be submitted to this office NLT COB 23 Feb 09. Respondents must submit a capabilities statement as it relates to meeting this requirement.
