Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC, TEMPE, AZ.,85284-2822. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interestedpersons may identify their interest and capability to respond to therequirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a requestfor competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fortyfive-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basicordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determiningwhether to conduct a competitive procurement.Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to beingconsidered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions forobtaining further information on this requirement. All responsiblesources solicited may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.Award will be made only if the offeror, the product, or the manufacturermeets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance withFAR clause 52.209-1. Interest parties may contact the POC for thiseffort for information concerning qualification requirements.The solicitation will be available for download on the release date fromwww.fedbizops.gov. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of thesolicitation will not be sent from this office. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
