- Description
- This is the synopsis of the Naval Inventory Control Point requirement for the establishment of a multi-year Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract for the AN/ALQ-126B Countermeasures System used in support of the various aircraft. The scope of this effort will encompass the repair, modification, overhaul, and replacement of hardware, including manufacturing of new material, as well as storage, transportation, requisition processing, obsolescence management and availability improvement. The Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source to possess full manufacturing and repair capability is BAE Systems, Nashua, NH. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same which are required to support performance of this type of contract by any other source are not available from the Government. February 2010 is the estimated award date of the resultant five (5) year requirements contract.
