- Description
- The CECOM Contracting Center-Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, proposes to procure Depot Level Repair Services for a maximum of 300 unserviceable Cargo Utility Global Positioning System (GPS) Receivers (CUGRs), AN/ASN-175, NSN 5826-01-442-4579. The proposed action is for a five-year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed-Price, contract. The Government will solicit this effort on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, this Acquisition will be conducted on a Sole Source basis to FreeFlight Systems, 3700 Interstate 35 S., Waco, TX 76706-3756. FreeFlight Systems is the only contractor with facilities and qualified personnel to fulfill the repair requirements for the CUGR. Government sources cannot fulfill these services because the Army does not have the necessary skills, repair parts and special test equipment to perform depot repairs. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation, W15P7T-09-R-G040, will be posted on the IBOP. All parties interested in doing business with the CECOM Contracting Center-Army Contracting Command are invited to access, operate, send, and receive information from the IBOP website at http:// abop.monmouth.army.mil on or about 17 February 2009.
