- DESCRIPTION: This requirement was previously synopsized as AG-3395-S-09-0009, which was cancelled due to an administrative error. Successful offerors shall furnish and deliver various grades of stone/crushed aggregate to designated locations within the administrative boundaries of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests per awarded contract prices. The primary purpose of this solicitation and any resulting contracts is to provide for the purchase and delivery of stone/crushed aggregate to Forest Service roads and road-related projects. The secondary purpose of this solicitation is to provide for the purchase and delivery of stone/crushed aggregate to non-road project areas. The Forest Service intends to award multiple indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contracts from this solicitation. Task orders will be placed on an as-needed basis against contracts where the awarded price (calculated in association with associated hauling distance) will result in the best value to the Government. LOCATION: The George Washington and Jefferson National Forests is comprised of seven Ranger Districts and one National Recreation Area, and administers land in various counties in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky, with the bulk of work occurring in Virginia. Those counties are as follows: (Virginia) Alleghany, Amherst, Augusta, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt, Carroll, Craig, Dickenson, Frederick, Giles, Grayson, Highland, Lee, Montgomery, Nelson, Page, Pulaski, Roanoke, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Scott, Shenandoah, Smyth, Tazewell, Warren, Washington, Wise, and Wythe; (West Virginia) Hampshire, Hardy, Monroe, and Pendleton; (Kentucky) Letcher and Pike. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: From date of award for 1 calendar year (365 calendar days). CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry and must have completed a profile in the Online-Representations and Certifications database prior to award of a contract. Registration may be completed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Vendors must also be registered in ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications) prior to contract award, and may accomplish this on the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov. You must be registered in CCR and have an MPIN number before you can begin ORCA registration. SET-ASIDE: This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code for this project is 212312. The small business size standard for this project is 500 Employees. BONDING INFORMATION: No Bonds Required. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Solicitation AG-3395-S-09-009B and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Proposals and will be available for downloading on or around February 9, 2009 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor.
