- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to procure on a sole-source purchase basis from SunAir Electronics, LLC., 3400 SW 60th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34474-9477,maintenance and repair training for the SunAir RT-9000 Digital Transceiver. This training will take place no later than April 10th 2009. SunAir Electronics, LLC., is the only known manufacturer of the requested training. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 13th of February 2009. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. However, sources who feel they can satisfy this requirement should submit their company information along with any other information that would prove they can fully perform this requirement. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29 effective 14 November, 2008 and DFARS Change Notice 20081218.
