Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government anticipates awarding to a single small business whose offer meets the requirements in this combined synopsis/solicitation. The NAICS code is 337214 and size standard is less than 500 employees. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, Effective 1 June 2008 & Class Deviation 2005-00001. Offers shall propose a fixed price for 2 chair dollys; 59 classroom chairs; 15 ergonomic office chairs; 18 classroom tables; 6 office work stations; 2 small office work stations; and 2 individual desks. SCOPE 1. Chair Dollys: The Montana National Guard anticipates purchasing 2 chair dollys, constructed of tubular and plate steel, capable of holding ten chairs. Dolly should be on two fixed and two swivel casters for easy movement. 2. Classroom Chairs: The Montana National Guard anticipates purchasing 59 stackable classroom chairs. Chair should be stackable, with a height up to 45 chairs high. Chair should be constructed of steel with a molded polypropylene seat. Required color is black. 3. Ergonomic Chairs: The Montana National Guard anticipates purchasing 15 ergonomic office chairs. Chair should have an ergonomically designed back frame with built-in lumbar support and a breathable translucent mesh back. Arm rest must adjust up and down, in and out at base to allow for a 25 inch seating area. It also adjusts inward at top of the arm rest to allow for various work areas. Seat pan must be adjustable in and out and the front area must tilt upward. All adjustments must be able to be made from seated position. Required color is black. 4. Classroom Tables: The Montana National Guard anticipates purchasing 18 classroom tables. Tables should be constructed of solid core, high density particle board with a high pressure laminate surface with folding elliptical tube legs. Required dimensions are 60 inches wide, 30 inches deep with a height of 29 inches. Desired color is grey. 5. Office Work Stations: The Montana National Guard anticipates purchasing 6 office work stations. Work stations should be made of wood composite core or like material with high pressure matte finish laminate. Unit should consist of pedestal desk, U bridge, shell credenza, upper shelf, lateral file cabinet, upper storage and a sliding keyboard tray. Lateral filing cabinet should have locking drawers and allow for front-to-back and side-to-side filing. Desired dimensions are 72 x 30 29 for pedestal desk; 48 x 24 x 291/2 for U bridge; 66 x 24 x 29 for upper shelf; 33 x 24 x 29 for lateral file; 33 1/4 x 18 x 39 for the upper storage; and 20 x 10 x 1 for the keyboard tray. 6. Small Office Work Stations: The Montana National Guard anticipates purchasing 2 small office work stations. Work stations should be made of wood composite core or like material with high pressure matte finish laminate. Unit should consist of mobile pedestal, L-unit extension, upper shelf, shell credenza and keyboard. Desired dimensions are 15 x 21 5/8 x 27 9/16 for the mobile pedestal; 48 x 24 x 29 for the L-unit extension; 66 x 15 x 39 for the upper shelf; 66 x 24 x 29 for the shell credenza; and 20 x 10 x 1 for the keyboard tray. 7. Individual Desks: The Montana National Guard anticipates purchasing 2 individual desks. Desks should be made of wood composite with a high pressure matte finish laminate. Recycle wood fiber content is preferred. Desk should include 2 drawers and a sliding file drawer. Desire dimension is 72 x 36 x 29 8. Two awards will result from this solicitation. Each award will have a different delivery location within the state of Montana. The government anticipates awarding both contracts to a single, small business. 6. All items shall be shipped FOB Destination. The provision of 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (April 2002) applies to this RFQ. 52.212-3 Alt I clause needs to be completed and a signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer. 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items (January 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and Technical Acceptability. If products from offerors are found to be technically acceptable, price will be the determining factor.
