Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), contemplates the acquisition of 2D Barcoding Equipment. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price type purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339943. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, on February 25, 2009. Quotes shall be submitted by facsimile at (405) 954-9219 or e-mail at beth.orton@faa.gov. Please reference RFQ DTFAAC-09-R-02000. Prior to award of a purchase order, all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov. In addition, all contractors shall complete and return the attached Business Declaration Form with their quotes. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the solicitation process. This RFQ is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Inquiries regarding this RFQ should be directed to the Contracting Officer, Beth Orton, (405) 954-1015. ---------------------------------- This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
