- LEASE SPACE TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT in Chesapeake, VA REQUIREMENT:The Federal Government is interested in leasing approximately 51,000 ANSI/BOMA square feet, comprised of 50,000 ANSI/BOMA square feet of warehouse space and 1,000 ANSI/BOMA square feet of office space, for use by the federal tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The Government currently occupies space in Chesapeake, and the cost of a physical move, as well as the cost of new space alterations will be taken into consideration when determining whether or not relocation is economically advantageous. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space. LOCATION:Offered properties shall be located within the area bounded by: City Limits of Chesapeake, VA LEASE TERM:Ten years; five years firm EXPRESSION OF INTEREST shall be submitted no later than and include the following: 1.Building name and address 2.Available Rentable and ANSI/BOMA square feet 3.Rental Rate per Rentable and ANSI/BOMA square foot 4.Common Area Factor(s) for available space by floor, if applicable 5.Owner’s name and address and written statement from owner that offeror has legal authority to provide information on the property
