- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger District, Cherokee National Forest has a need for trash collection services. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, materials, vehicles, supplies, and incidentals necessary to load, haul, and dispose of refuse from various locations throughout the Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger District. The trash will be disposed of in a trash compactor located at the Ocoee Work Center. Solicitation will contain Bid Item 1, Collect trash along the Ocoee River Recreation Zone, and Bid Item 2, Collect trash along the Hiwassee River Recreation Zone. Award may be made to one or two contractors from this single solicitation. This is a total small business set-aside. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Various locations on the Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger District, Cherokee National Forest, Benton, Tennessee. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-09-0010 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quote and will be available for downloading on or about February 19, 2009 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Bid conference date, if planned, will be included in the solicitation.
