Description

Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for an Occupational Health Physician at the Naval Health Clinic Charleston. The contractor shall provide coverage to work 1 day per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 0700 and 1630 for an 8.5 hour period, which includes a half hour uncompensated meal break. The period of performance is 11 Sep 09 through 10 Sep 10. The successful offeror shall provide an Occupational Health Physician who will perform a full range of Occupational Health Physician services for all eligible beneficiaries assigned to Naval Health Clinic Charleston, SC in accordance with the privileges granted by the Commanding Officer, on site using government furnished facilities, supplies, and equipment. The contract resulting from the anticipated solicitation will be for a base period of 1 year with 4 option periods. The Government intends to award a single personal services, fixed price, ID/IQ type contract. The applicable SIC code is 8062 and the NAICS code is 622110. The solicitation will be available on the NMLC home page at http://www.nmlc.med.navy.mil/aquisitions_rfp.asp on or about 6 February 2009 and will remain open until 30 days after the date of issue. No Request for Proposal (RFP) will be mailed to offerors.
