- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement F3G1FA9023A001 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-28. Set Aside: Total Small Business, NAICS Code: 611519, Size Standard: $6.5 Million. This is a commercial request for EMT-P Refresher Training Course To furnish all labor, tools, parts, and transportation to acquire: EMT-P Refresher Training Course Salient characteristics are as follows: EMT-P Refresher Training Course IAW National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic Recertification guidelines: http://www.nremt.org (Please see attached brochure for recertification requirements) Requesting instructors and any required course material to be made available to 16 Air Force Pararescuemen (PJ's) between 16 and 21 Feb 2009 (5-6 day course). In order to comply with NREMT standards the course must include at least 48 hours of instruction. The training facility will be provided by the 58 RQS on Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. This facility is furnished with audio visual equipment. Upon course completion all attendees shall be provided certificates of completion and instructors shall ensure that all required documentation is submitted to the NREMT for EMT-P recertification. The following areas must be covered during the course: - CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) - PHTLS (Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) The course attendees shall receive CPR and ACLS credentials during the EMT-P Refresher course. Quotes shall include the following: All expenses associated with sending instructors to Nellis AFB to conduct the Refresher Course.
