- Scope of Work; Description is per dorm, 3 dorms on center. Remove 40 corridor doors and replace with new metal doors with birch grain finish. Doors must be rated for a 20 minute fire protection rating and installed with related hardware. With hardware installed, the doors should self-close and latch. Removal of 4 doors on laundry rooms and replace with new metal doors with birch grain finish. Doors must be rated for a 20 minute fire protection rating and installed with related hardware. With hardware installed, the doors should self-close and latch. Removal of 4 doors in social skills training rooms and replace with new metal doors with birch grain finish. Doors must be rated for a 20 minute fire protection rating and installed with related hardware. With hardware installed, the doors should self-close and latch. Removal of 4 doors in residential advisor office and replace with new metal doors with birch grain finish. Doors must be rated for a 20 minute fire protection rating and installed with related hardware. With hardware installed, the doors should self-close and latch. Remove 4 doors in laundry rooms and replace with new metal doors with birch grain finish. Doors must be rated for a 20 minute fire protection rating and installed with related hardware. With hardware installed, the doors should self-close and latch. Remove 4 doors in wing lounges and replace with new metal doors with birch grain finish. Doors must be rated for a 20 minute fire protection rating and installed with related hardware. With hardware installed, the doors should self-close and latch. Notes: Door sizes, handing and style may vary so field measurement is required. Doors shall be a commercial type door such as Steelcraft or equivalent. The Center uses mortise type locks with cylinder locks. Replacement mortise locks should be a dormitory type deadbolt that will accept a 1 1/8” cylinder and a lever type handle. Hinges shall be of a commercial type listed for the door type. Doors to be installed with stainless kick plates. Door closers shall be LCN 4040 series or equivalent in a non-handed design. Work to be done Monday –Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 3:30pm. Bidders to include number of days if awarded Purchase Order to start project. Bidders to include number of days to complete this project.
