- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), on behalf of the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer, intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with Career Communications Group, Inc. for participation in the 2009 Black Engineer of the Year Awards Conference to be held at the Baltimore Convention Center during February 18 – 22, 2009. The procurement is for the Corporate Exhibit Package which includes: (1) Corporate 10’ x 10’ Exhibit Booth; (2) Listing in the US Black Engineer Conference, Deans & Supplier Diversity Magazines; and (3) Hyperlink on Black Engineer of the Year Website for 6 months. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time Thursday, February 12, 2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. However, firms that believe they can provide these services in their entirety must submit a written notification of interest and capability to the Contract Specialist by the date and time indicated. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
