- Description
- The 316th Contracting Squadron, wishes to procure Emergency Equipment for Vehicles at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. This will be a 100% set-aside for small businesses. This requirement will result in an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contract with one-year base period and two (2) one-year option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336322 with a small business size standard in number of 750 employees. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be best value source selection in which competing offerors’ past performance history wil be evaluated on a basic significantly more importantly than cost or price consideration. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 6 February 09 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Those unregistered in CCR may do so by calling 1-800-334-3141 or by visiting http://www.ccr.gov/. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
