- Description
- The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for a Horizontal Boring Machine. The successful offeror will be responsible for fabrication, delivery, and installation of the machine to include testing and training. Potential offerors will be required to utilize the following manufacturer specific components and related hardware as part of their overall offer submitted in response to the solicitation for the machine: GE Fanuc Controller. Delivery, installation, testing, acceptance, and training will be at FRC East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC 28533. The contract performance/delivery schedule will require completion of delivery, installation, testing, acceptance, and training related to the upgrade within 365 calendar days from date of contract award. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) Database. CCR information is available at www.ccr.gov. The complete solicitation will be released on or about 17 February 2009 and may be accessed via the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) home page at: http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/.
