- This is a Sources Sought Notice to gage the level of interested parties for this requirement. We would like to know if you are able to provide these services and if you are interested in receiving further information as we go though the acquisition process. You will not be required to submit a proposal at this time; this synopsis is for planning purposes only. The 48th Contracting Squadron will be soliciting for Land, Mobile and Radio Service in the near future. The estimated start date for this service is October 1, 2009. The contractor shall provide all service as defined IAW DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall provide management and supply materials, labor, tools, parts, and equipment necessary to provide maintenance and repair on Government owned Land Mobile Radio assets at RAF Lakenheath and potentially RAF Mildenhall. Work shall be accomplished in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer's specifications. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing the information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of future evaluations. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resulting solicitation for the requirement. The information requested will be used by the Air Force Contracting Office at RAF Lakenheath to facilitate decision making.
