Description
Offerors must have a facility clearance that allows access to and storage of SECRET materials. Interested offerors shall forward their e-mail and contact information to albert.whitley@usmc.mil and cc: donald.kelley@usmc.mil Not later than 7:00 A.M EST on 06 February 2009. Please include your CAGE code so the facility clearance can be verified prior to sending the solicitation. The security officer information should also be provided so the attachments can be properly routed. The Solicitation, Amendments and responses to questions will be sent to the established mailing list. Please review the attached Section B, Section C, Section J, Section L, and Section M and provide comments back not later than February 6, 2009 so they can be incorporated into the solicitation. A February 13, 2009 release date for the solicitation is anticipated. Background: The USMC CREW program office has procured 10,089 CREW systems. CREW systems are high power, modular, programmable, multiband radio frequency jammers designed to deny enemy use of selected portions of the radio frequency spectrum. The USMC CREW systems, Hunter and Chameleon, are proprietary NDI systems. The USMC CREW systems have been fielded in Operation IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF), Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF), and as part of the USMC Maritime Expeditionary Units (MEU's). Purpose: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is identified in Section C of the attached document.
