- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. Solicitation 1300119601 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Harris Corporation for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. Manufacturer must be Harris Corporation. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are Clin 0001, 7 each, Power Amplifier, FW, V1.3 (D), RF-5834H-PA, P/N 10535-8640-01; Clin 0002, 8 each Shock Mount Dual, P/N RF-5072VSM-03; Clin 0003, 8 each Power Supply, Green RF-5051, P/N RF-5051-PS001; Clin 0004, 9 each, Antenna Coupler, 150W with 50 OHM PO R, P/N RF-5382H-CU001 and Clin 0005, 1 each, shipping charges to St. Inigoes MD 20684. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 05 Feb 2009 may be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
