- This project is located in the Piute Mountains Mining District within the Sequoia National Forest on the Ke4rn River Ranger District. Work involves the Historical evaluation of 3 mine site to determine the site's eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places. These evaluations will establish the period of significance, determine which features and/or artifacts are contributing elements, and recommend appropriate mitigations the Forest should implement prior to reclamation of the mine. The estimated contract time is 160 calendar days. Estimated start work date is March 23, 2009. Issue date of solicitation is approximately February 16, 2009 with a closing date of approximately March 11, 2009. This project is set-aside for small business.
