Somers, Telephone (843) 218-5976; Fax (843) 218-5963 Description: Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic intends to negotiate, on a sole-source basis, with InterImage, Inc., Arlington, VA, for continued development and implementation of a web-based, Department of Navy Criminal Justice Information System (DONCJIS). DONCJIS is a case management system that provides enterprise visibility into incident and case data throughout the life cycle of Navy and Marine Corps unclassified criminal and military justice incidents. InterImage, Inc. is the original developer of the system, which is currently in pre-deployment testing by the Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS). The primary objective for DONCJIS is to provide a web-based interface for data entry of criminal incident and case data; incorporate business processes and workflow requirements from the law enforcement, investigative, judicial, and corrections user community; enhance the existing systems for US Navy and Marine Corps Law Enforcement, JAG, and Corrections users; provide full data processing and case tracking capabilities from incident to corrections; include in-depth reporting capabilities, data extracts, and statistical analysis of criminal data; and solve limited network bandwidth problems for users who connect to the system via dial-up connections. The contractor will deploy DONCJIS at NCIS, followed by deployment Navy and Marine Corp wide. The contract will support the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantics Intelligence and Information Warfare Engineering Department. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee, performance based type contract is anticipated. Security clearance at the Secret level is required. This Notice of Intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
