- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Government anticipates entering into a five-year Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Laser Aiming Module (LAM) prototype units, LAM production units, and remote activation cables in accordance with the Government's Performance Specification and Statement of Work. The Government requirement is for a quantity of 10 LAM prototype units, a minimum/maximum quantity of 10/1,500 LAM production units and 10/1,500 Remote Activation Cables. The FOB point for all items shall be FOB Destination. Inspection shall be at source with acceptance at destination. This requirement is 100% set-aside to small business in accordance with FAR SUBPART 19.5, "Set-Asides for Small Business". The Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, located at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be available on or about 17 February 2009 at the three websites listed above. Interested parties can download the solicitation from the three website! s listed above, for no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible parties may submit a proposal for this procurement, which will be considered by the Government.
