- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Maryland (NSWC-IH) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The research entails identifying clusters developed for non-energetic tasks that can potentially be used as energetics in addition to an evaluation of existing energetic cluster systems. The experiments will utilize techniques such as tandem mass spectrometry and a gas-phase collision cell. The findings will be documented and submitted to a peer-reviewed journal upon completion.The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541712. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) code is AD92. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). See Note 22.
