- Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Bonner, Boundary, Shoshone, Kootenai, Benewah and Latah Counties, Idaho. Forest Wide Blading for: Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Priest Lake (North Zone), Coeur d Alene River (Central Zone) and the St. Joe Ranger Districts (South Zone). The work is performance-based services for Road Maintenance Grading, to include: road grading, scarification, clearing debris from ditches, minor road repair, and other related work necessary to meet objectives, including: Proper mix of aggregates and fines to maintain aggregates on the road way, the elimination of ruts and chuckholes, maintenance and functionality of ditchlines and water diversion structures and removal of rocks, limbs and other debris from road prism while maintaining vegetation that serves to prevent or moderate erosion from runoff. Cleaning CMP catch basins and inlets/outlets, ditches, slides and other similar maintenance items. Hourly work may be performed on as-needed basis for minor work in non road areas or unusual conditions. The contemplated contract type is Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Multiple awards by Zone are possible, with one base and one option year period (2009 and 2010 field seasons) with a Spring 09 start date. Contract delivery order minimums are anticipated to be $10,000 with a potential maximum of $300,000. It is anticipated that the solicitation (Request for Proposal) will be issued in late February 2009.
