- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award a sole source modification to the Information Access Services “Sunset” contract (IAS). This contract will allow the retirement of the old IAS system. This effort consists of providing discovery and retrieval capability services against NGA geospatial-intelligence holdings that are held in libraries utilizing the USIGS Interoperability profile/Geospatial and Imagery Access Services (UIP/GIAS) protocol. The IAS was developed and evolved to support the customer requirement for the rapid dissemination of digital geospatial and imagery information. Additionally, the IAS client service provides users with the ability to request tailored data (i.e. compresses or converted data from the libraries).
