- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (I)This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)Solicitation #W912J3-09-T-1001 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. (III)This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-20. (IV)This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses; however the Government is accepting proposals from large businesses. In the event of insufficient small business concern participation, award will be made to a participating large business. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220, small business size 750 employees. (V) COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: LINE ITEM 0001: MOTOROLA BATTERIES, LI-ion 4150 mAh FOR MOTOROLA XTS 5000 LAND MOBILE RADIOS, PART # NNTN6034A, 164 EACH must be the Brand Name specified, no substitutions. (VII) Delivery by 13 February 2009 to: 2251 Air Guard RD SE, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117, FOB Destination. (VIII) The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. (IX) The Government anticipates awarding a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government. Best value consideration include delivery schedule, price, past performance. All Evaluation factors other than price, when combined are significantly more important than price. (X) FAR 52.212-3 (Alt 1), Offerors Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (offerors shall include a completed copy as part of their quote or complete the application at http://orca.bpn.gov.
