- The work to be performed under the contract resulting from this solicitation consists of: excavation and grading of slide material; construction of a reinforced concrete piling wall; construction of drainage channels; placement of rock backfill;revegetation of all disturbed areas; and resoration of damaged driveways and access roads. The project site is located 119 Peach Tree Drive in Combs, Perry County, KY. The emergency nature and complexity of the work needing done at this project site requires that : ATTENDANCE AT THE PREBID CONFERENCE IS MANDATORY. THE PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON 2/3/09. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE TO MEET AT THE HUDDLE HOUSE ON HAL ROGERS PARKWAY IN HAZARD, KY @ 9:00 AM. Complete solicitation packages are being mailed to OSM's pre-established bidders list for piling walls in the area where the work is to be performed. Drawings have not been posted on FedConnect or FedBizOpps. Prospective bidders attending the pre-bid conference not on the OSM bidders list will be provided copies of the drawings at the scheduled pre-bid conference on February 3, 2009.
