- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Cheyenne, Wyoming is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number: VA-259-09-RP-0069 for the following: A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractor to furnish all labor, material, and supervision, to replace existing 13.2 KV to 208 Vac transformers with new units and construction oil containment berms around transformer locations. Additional work includes replacement of automatic transfer switches in selected locations and replacement of variable frequency motor drives as shown on the drawings. The magnitude of the project is $500,000 to $1M. The NAICS code is 237130, and Size Standard is $33.5 Million. Performance period is 180 calendar days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This is a total set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). A Pre-Bid conference is scheduled for February 18, 2009 at 10:00 am local time, at Cheyenne VAMC, 2360 E. Pershing Blvd, Building 11, 2nd Floor, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Bids due March 4, 2009, 2pm local time, at the Cheyenne VAMC, Contracting Office, Building 4, 2360 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001. Solicitation will be available on or about January 28, 2009.
