- THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR AWARD TO A SMALL BUSINESS. Contractor is to furnish all material, labor, equipment, and supervision to accomplish the remodel of restrooms located at the Dick Cheney Federal Building in Casper, Wyoming. This work shall include but is not limited to the demolition of the existing floor and wall tiles, the removal of the existing partitions, the removal of rest-room fixtures as shown on the drawings, the removal of the mirrors and trash. In addition to this work all items taken out shall be replaced with new as described in the Scope of Work. ACM Abatement shall also be preformed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with size standard of $33.5 million. The estimated range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Contract completion shall be 90 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about February 11, 2009. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. All prospective offerors are also required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Award will be a firm fixed price contract, and the procurement method shall be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposal (RFP). Award selection will be made based on price. An offer shall be developed and presented to the Government in sufficient detail for the Contracting Officer to determine reasonableness in comparison to the Government’s price estimate. The details should include a breakdown for materials and labor. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the EPS site at www.fbo.gov for the release of any amendments. Scaled drawings will be furnished with the solicitation to all interested parties by overnight mail.
