- The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Olympus America Inc. for Fiber Optic and Ridge Scope refurbishment/Repair. This BPA will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 27 Jan 2009. This notice is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is to award based on Sole Source requirement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29 and DFARS Change Notice 20090115, Standard Industrial Code 6515, North American Industry Classification System Code 811219 and Size Standard of $7.0 Million apply to this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
