- Description
- The 1st Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a Critical Infrastructure Management System(CIMS)for use by for Langley AFB, VA. The 1st Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The system provides over 1000 data layers of information that is cleaned, geo-coded, and constantly updated. The 1st Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price purchase order with iMapData, Inc; 1410 Spring Hill Rd Ste 300, Mclean, VA 22101-3058. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541511. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contract administrator. Submit information to cory.williams@langley.af.mil. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. Responses are due by 02-Feb-09 at 12:00 P.M. EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
