- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses and is solicited under NAICS 541720. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $6.5M. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-29. Description of Requirement: Archaeological Services, Phase I Archaeological Survey, Eagle/Newman/Rocky Branch Timber Tracts, John H. Kerr Project Area. Please see attachments for full specifications. Contract Line Item 0001: Phase 1 Archaeological Survey, Eagle/Newman/Rocky Branch Timber Tracts, Kerr Lake, VA. 1 Job, Lump Sum This Request for Proposals incorporates the following provisions:  FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial  FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items  FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items ---- Offerors must include a completed copy of 52.212-3 in their offer. This Request for Proposals incorporates the following clauses:  FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items  FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items Other provisions and clauses included are in the attached specifications. The full text of the provisions and clauses may be accessed through the attached documents or through http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the web site for registration is http://www.ccr.gov. Quotations are due no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, February 18, 2009. Please use the attached solicitation document to prepare your proposal. You are encouraged to submit proposals electronically. They may also be faxed to the attention of Contract Specialist, Charlenne Figgins at 910.251.4454. The completed Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FAR 52.212-3) must be submitted along with each proposal.
