- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, is soliciting offers on a unrestricted basis for the purchase of multiple 15 Kilovolt and 30 Kilovolt Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR) over a five year period. 1 of each AVR will be fabricated for use in First Article Testing. The required 15 Kilovolt and 30 Kilovolt AVR's to be furnished shall be in accordance with the Navy's Performance Specification. The specification establishes electrical and physical requirements for a single phase, 400 Hertz (Hz) alternating current (AC) AVR intended for shipboard application. The AVR shall be designed to operate in a three-phase bank to supply three-phase, 115/200 VAC, four-wire (A,B,C,N) wye circuit with a grounded or ungrounded neutral wire. This requirement will be evaluated on a low price, technically acceptable basis and offerors will be expected to submit both technical and price proposals for the consideration of the Government. A firm-fixed price type, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract is anticipated to result from the solicitation. It is the intention of the Navy to issue this RFP through electronic means only. This RFP shall be available upon issuance at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The NAICS code for this requirement is 335311.
